I wanted to submit my sincere gratitude and compliments to you and your firm for hiring Diane, and for the very effective efforts of Diane and Zannah in marketing, showing, and supporting me in preparing my 322 South Shore Rd home for sale last fall. The lake home at 322 South Shore Rd was in what I considered superb condition in late 2022 when I made the purchase through Zannah, and Zannah continued to be a terrific agent and person in supporting me with answers to my queries about the neighbors and the lake area generally from 2023 to date.
With regard to the recent sale of 322 South Shore Rd in December to a couple from NH, I wanted to thank Diane especially for all of her hands-on efforts to guide and support me in getting the home ready to show. She was a true trooper in showing up and giving great advice, never mind lending hands on help at times. The sale was not as easy as it appeared to be at first, perhaps in part because the buyer's agent was a relative of the buyer (e.g. discounted his fee), and specifically because we had a misunderstanding about how much of equipment and items that I accepted with the home for my purchase in 2022 could be left in the home for the new buyers. I had offered them a lot of extra value in the exterior furniture, exterior ladder, many other furnishings, raft, and so forth, but toward the closing they really resisted, especially at the final walk through, the number of items I left.
Before the closing date, Diane first hired a local plow person to clear the snow out because otherwise the walk through would not have been possible. She also had her son shovel the remaining snow of the walkways. Of course, I paid for the plowing and I wanted to pay her son. Then she turned up early and worked intensively (including filling up her vehicle) with me to remove yet more items from the home in order to be sure the buyers would be happy, or at least satisfied. Even then, the buyers held back, and we ended up in a last minute negotiation at your office to resolve the differences, when I offered to write a check for "junk" removal service that Zannah or Diane identified. This is a "full service" sale!.
In the end the buyer's agent must have talked the buyers back because he came to me to say that no extra funds for junk removal were required, which frankly left me in a much better mood. Now I will willingly support the buyers if they ask for any information or support with their new home.
In any case, I am very grateful for both Zannah's very effective efforts in 2022 and 2023-2025, and Diane and Zannah's work in 2025! Diane is a real find. My own amateur expectation is that Diane will continue to be a great asset to your firm.
